Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Willow Rain Company LLC (“we”, “us”) for using flik Mobile. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app stores and is part of this agreement.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 or older to create a flik account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people or pretend to be someone else.
What flik is — launch-phase limits
flik is in its launch phase. Calling and texting in flik run through a third-party carrier provider. In this release, real calling and texting to real phone numbers is not active yet — the number, conversations, and voicemail shown are samples on your device. Real calling and texting launch when the provider connection is activated, and these terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated before it does. Features may be incomplete, may change, or may be temporarily unavailable during the launch phase.
Emergency calls — please read
flik is not a replacement for your phone service and does not support emergency calling. For emergencies, use your device's native dialer to call 911 (or your local emergency number). This applies during the launch phase and after the carrier connection is activated, unless we tell you otherwise in the app and in these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use flik for anything illegal, including fraud, harassment, threats, or spam — including bulk or automated unsolicited calls or messages.
- Impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent who is calling or texting.
- Try to break into other accounts, probe or overload the service, or work around its security or usage limits.
- Use flik to collect other people's information without their consent.
When live calling and texting is active, carrier and legal rules for phone services also apply to your use (for example, rules about robocalls, caller ID, and consent to be contacted). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or those rules.
Your content
Your contacts, messages, and voicemails are yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, display, and — once the carrier connection is active — deliver them as the service requires. You are responsible for the content you create and send, and for having the right to send it.
Your number (when the carrier service is active)
- A flik number is assigned to your account for use with the service; it is not sold to you. If your account is deleted or the service ends, the number is released and may be reassigned.
- Calls and messages are delivered through our carrier provider and the wider phone network. Delivery, quality, and availability depend on those networks and are not guaranteed.
Deleting your account
You may delete your account and your data at any time — in the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account, or as described on our Delete Account page. Deleting signs you out everywhere immediately; after a 7-day grace period (signing back in cancels the deletion), your account and its content are permanently deleted. Our Privacy Policy explains the 7-day schedule.
Ending or changing the service
We may change, pause, or discontinue features. If we end the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app where we can. You may stop using flik and delete your account at any time.
Liability basics
- flik is provided “as is” during its launch phase, without warranties beyond those the law requires.
- To the maximum extent the law allows, Willow Rain Company LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (such as lost profits or missed calls or messages) arising from use of the service, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (for a free service, that amount is $0 beyond what the law requires).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law forbids limiting it.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use flik after an update means you accept the updated terms.
